Annual Subscription: Current annual subscription for Corporate Membership is €200
Candidates for Corporate Membership must satisfy both part A and B
A) Education: Those who have obtained a degree or masters degree in Town / Spatial Planning from the courses accredited by the Irish Planning Institute (see accredited courses):
Or
Those who have full / or corporate membership of another national planning institute or national association that is a full member of the European Council of Spatial Planners (ECTP)
Or
Those who have passed the Institute’s Test of Professional Competence, as for Graduate Membership, set out above
And
B) Experience: Must have gained at least two years satisfactory experience in planning after obtaining the accredited degree (one year of which must have been obtained in Ireland), or have gained at least two years satisfactory experience in planning after obtaining the membership of the other national planning institute (one year of which must have been obtained in Ireland), or have gained at least two years satisfactory experience in planning after passing the test of Professional Competence (one year of which must have been obtained in Ireland).
Action Required:
Fill in the relevant application form and send to the IPI Head Office Include a copy of degree certificate(s) or Include written confirmation of current full / corporate membership from the relevant institute / association that is a full member of the European Council of Spatial Planners (ECTP)
or
Include a copy of the result of the Institute’s Test of Professional Competence,
and
Have two current Corporate Members of the Institute sign the application form. Candidates should also include a detailed CV of planning work experience to be initialled by the Corporate Members who have signed the application form.
